Enjoy this delicious chocolate brownie recipe. For this demonstration we make them in our Panda (3.5 cup) rice cooker but the recipe can be easily adjusted to scale for use in our larger sized rice cookers. The recipe for making this in 8 cup Yum Asia rice cookers can be found here – https://greedy-panda.com/2017/07/vegan-chocolate-brownies/..
Note that this recipe is completely vegan!

Hi, I have the Kumo YumCarb Advanced Fuzzy Logic Ceramic Rice Cooker, is there any way of cooking this recipe in this type of rice cooker as it doesn’t have a cake/ bake setting? I love my rice cooker and use it every day. this would be amazing to be able to cook brownies in it too!
Hi, Kumo doesn’t have a cake baking function so you can’t bake cakes/these brownies in it.
After making brownies, the ceramic bowl has a faint smell of brownies (even after leaving in water and soap overnight). Any tips to get rid of this?
Hi Gabriel, it might not be the bowl which has the smell, it may be the inner lid, lid and steam cap so make sure you wash all of these as well. You can cook half a cup of rice and this should get rid of any residual smell.
Hi!
I just found out how to make the self-raising flour:
80 grams of all-purpose flour
4 grams baking powder
a pinch of salt
Maybe this helps others who also never heared of self-raising flour before ^^
Hi! Self-raising flour is very common in the UK so this is why it’s mentioned in the recipe. You can also use cake flour if this is available or, as you say, make your own with all purpose flour and baking powder.
