Berry and peach cobbler

INGREDIENTS FOR THE FRUIT LAYER
 400 g blackberries, rinsed and drained (blueberries also work)
 100 g peaches, freshly sliced
 1 tbsp cornstarch
 2 tbsp salted butter, melted
 4 tbsp white sugar
FOR THE COBBLER LAYER
 300 g all purpose flour
 180 g white sugar
 1 ½ tsp baking powder
 ½ tsp salt
 240 ml milk
 1 tsp vanilla extract
 2 tbsp salted butter, melted
INGREDIENTS FOR THE TOPPING
 1 tbsp sugar
 ¼ tsp cinnamon, ground
HOW TO MAKE

Mix peaches, blackberries, sugar, butter and cornstarch and add to the botton of your rice cooker inner bowl (fruit layer). Puree the berries with a masher if you don’t want a lumpy whole fruit mix.

Mix the dry ingredients of the cobbler layer in a separate bowl then add the wet ingredients.

Stir until combined. It’s okay if they are a few lumps. Then add this on top of the fruit layer in your rice cooker bowl. Spread it out if needed.

Mix the sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over the top.

Using the SLOW COOK function set the time for 2 hours and 30 minutes. Press START and do not open the lid until cooking is finished.

Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
